Julia Schroeder, derrière l’entreprise Pop Culture, trouve absolument stimulante l’idée de faire plaisir aux gens avec ses sucettes glacées. C’est d’abord la gourmandise qui l’a menée à réaliser ses premières créations, pour son conjoint et leurs deux fils. Puis, devant leur enthousiasme, et celui de ses amis, elle s’est lancée. On trouve maintenant ses produits dans quelques commerces de l’île de Montréal, dont la Fruiterie Atwater.
Elle concocte des dizaines de variétés dans une grange de Hudson, en Montérégie. «Mes clients veulent se délecter, insiste Julia. Ils adorent les saveurs fraise-miel ou mangue-noix de coco. Et c’est toujours drôle de voir leur tête quand on leur propose un érable-bacon!»

Color Me Rad!
Have been keeping our heads low...moved kitchens to an incredible new space...more on that later...and making popsicles like crazy since SOMEONE JUST TURNED ON THE HEAT IN MONTREAL!!
To kick off our season we are so excited to be at Color Me Rad!
It's a 5 K color run, and looks like crazy fun. Their marketing alone makes me giggle.
Here is copy from their fun website:
You'll start off with a shirt as pure and white as your granddaddy's dentures, and throughout the run, we'll coat your chaffing thighs with Color Bombs of blue, green, pink, purple, and yellow until you come out like a tie-dyed hippy on the other side.

Popsicles chez Rose Cafe!
Bonjour et joyeux printemps!
I am super happy to be back in the popsicle world after a chilly chilly dark winter! AND very pleased to announce that we have popsicles placed with Rose Cafe. The owner, Michèle Andreani, is creating a very special space for her community. Part studio, part salon, part cafe with hand chosen gourmet food. She also has concerts. Look at the wonderful photos she sent of 2 special customers! Merci Michele!
